Like me, Yvan Quinet has always been interested in what a live-action Batman Beyond film would be like. So he worked on these conceptual pieces and I gotta say that Batman Beyond suit is incredible. 

I would murder to see a good live action movie of this.

I am having trouble on deciding, with which concept I should continue. This is a planned illustration for twisted, centering on Jaune. She is obsessed with the idea of true love.

It’s not easy to compare these three, since they are in different stages of “sketchiness”. In the last one, the hearts would be just small shapes within the black pool, turning red if they sink under the surface.

Which one do you like best?

Ich mag das dritte am meisten. Wie Jaune da sitzt ist irgendwie mitreißender als bei den beiden anderen wo sie steht.

King Nightmare as … Prince Nightmare!

The King is an original character and I doubt that there is another human form than its  ”adult”-appearance, since it is more of a personified dread than a real being. It puts on a “human suit” to lure people into false safety. I found the idea interesting to figure out, how he might have worked as a child-character.

This is his original design. And this is a glorious rendition by the ever amazing rennerei.
